Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts or black walnuts
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Blend in bananas, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, baking soda
    and salt. Add the banana mixture, alternating with buttermilk and mix thoroughly after each addition.
    Add nuts.
    Mix.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/4 hours.
    Makes 2 loaves.
