Parsonage Open House Pecans - cooking recipe

3 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Put all 3 ingredients in iron frying pan and cook until water evaporates.
Crystals will form on nuts.
Pour nuts on baking sheets, distributing evenly.
Cook in preheated 300\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes, stirring after first 15 minutes.
Take out and let cool.
