Lime Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small or 1 large lime Jell-O
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O with 2 cups hot water.
    Set aside.
    Mix 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese with 1 cup hot water.
    Set aside.
    Mix Jell-O mixture and cream cheese mixture; fold in Cool Whip.
    Add crushed pineapple and pecans.
    Can be molded or leave in dish.
    If molded, turn out on lettuce leaf and garnish with whipped cream and cherries.
    Makes a very pretty and delicious dish.
    Serves 12 to 15.
