Fudgy Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
60 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped
1 tsp. shortening or oil
1/4 c. butter or oleo
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 oz. white baking chocolate

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine chocolate chips and butter in a medium saucepan.
Cook and stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add condensed milk; mix well.
Add flour, nuts and vanilla; mix well.
Shape 1 tablespoon of dough around each kiss, covering completely.
Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not overbake.
Melt white chocolate and shortening.
Drizzle over cookies.
Store in a tightly covered container.
