Kathy'S Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
6 plain chocolate bars or 1 (11.5 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
walnuts (optional)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla.
Add flour and oatmeal.
Butter jelly roll pan and spread mixture.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Melt chocolate and frost toffee bars.
If desired, may spread chopped walnuts on chocolate.
