Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag lentils, rinsed well
    salt
    pepper
    garlic powder
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 lb. oleo
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 c. carrots, chopped
    1 c. potatoes, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 lb. hot dogs, chopped
Preparation
    Cook lentils in 4 quarts of water for 1 hour.
    Season water and lentils with salt, pepper, garlic powder and 1 bay leaf. Saute in 1/4 pound oleo the onions, carrots, potatoes and celery. Season with salt and pepper.
    Add to cooked lentil soup.
    Cook until vegetables are tender.
    Add the chopped hot dogs.
    Bring to boil 5 minutes.
