Candied Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 apples, cored and sliced
1 pkg. spice cake mix
Preparation

Set oven at 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in small saucepan.
Add brown sugar, heat, stirring constantly, until mixture becomes thick and syrupy.
Remove from heat and divide into two 8-inch layer cake pans.
Core and slice apples.
Arrange attractively in syrup and set aside.
