Strawberry Flapjack Stack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare mix)
    1 qt. fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
    1 c. caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping
    1 (16 oz.) vanilla frosting
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease bottoms of 4 (9-inch) round cake pans. Prepare cake according to package directions. Remove from oven and let cool. Place 1 cake layer on a serving plate and frost top only with frosting swirls resembling whipped butter. Add a layer of strawberries. Repeat next 2 layers. Top stack with remaining layer. Pile frosting in center and add strawberries. Drizzle warm caramel topping over the top to resemble syrup.
