Cheese-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour twice with baking powder, salt and sugar; add cheese and pecans, mixing thoroughly.
    Combine egg, milk and butter.
    Pour into dry ingredients.
    Stir quickly until dry ingredients are dampened.
    Batter should not be smooth.
    Pour into buttered 8 x 4 x 3-inch bread pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Cool bread on wire rack before slicing.
