Pignolia(Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. almond paste, broken into small pieces
    2 egg whites
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    pignolia nuts (about 2 c.)
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with almond paste. Set aside. Sift together flour, sugars and salt.
    Stir into almond paste mixture. Form dough into logs approximately 2-inches long and roll in nuts to coat.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
