Cabbage Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. sliced carrots
    3 c. diced potatoes
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook
    all ingredients, except butter and milk, over low heat until
    well
    done.\tAdd butter and milk.
    Serve hot with crackers. Yields 8 servings.
