Banana Split Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
    2 c. half and half cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 bananas, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Beat eggs until frothy.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until thick.
    Add milk and salt.
    Mix well.
    Pour this mixture into large saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until thoroughly heated. Combine egg mixture, Eagle Brand milk and cream with vanilla. Stir well.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour into ice cream freezer.
    Freeze and ripen at least 1 hour.
    Makes 1 gallon.
