Basic Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. dry basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Heat oil and fry onion and garlic until transparent.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar and spices.
    Bring to boil, then lower temperature and simmer for 2 hours.
    You can also add meat balls or fried Italian sausage to your sauce before simmering.
