Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
8 Tbsp. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 c. mashed bananas
2 c. pecans, chopped
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs to mixture.
Mix soda and flour.
Mash bananas and add alternately with flour to batter. Add nuts and vanilla.
