Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
confectioners sugar
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix well the butter, 1/2 cup sugar and remaining ingredients. Chill several hours.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Roll at once in confectioners sugar. Cool; roll again in sugar.
Makes about 4 dozen.
These can be frozen.
