Brown Flour Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    diced potatoes
    1 Tbsp. lard or butter
    1 c. flour
    milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook the potatoes in water until done.
    Melt the lard or butter in heavy frypan.
    Add the flour; stir over medium heat until flour is brown.
    Stir into potatoes and water; cook for a few minutes.
    Add milk to make soup of desired consistency.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
