Shrimp And Artichoke Casserole - cooking recipe

6 1/2 Tbsp. butter
4 1/2 Tbsp. flour
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. heavy cream
salt and pepper
2 (No. 2) cans artichoke hearts
1 lb. cooked shrimp
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 c. sherry
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

In a saucepan, melt 4 1/2 tablespoons butter and stir in flour.
When blended, gradually stir in milk and cream, stirring constantly, with a wire whisk.
When the mixture is thickened and smooth, season to taste with salt and pepper.
