Ingredients

3 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. fig preserves
Preparation

Mix ingredients in a large bowl, one at a time.
Add the pecans last.
In a buttered tube pan, cook for 45 minutes at 300\u00b0.
