Smutt Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 prepared pie crust or graham crust
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2/3 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. peach jello
    5 large ripe peaches (2 1/4 lb.)
    1/3 c. orange juice
    topping or heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. 4x sugar
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in water. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; cook 1 minute.
    Stir in jello until dissolved.
    Cool to room temperature until slightly thickened, but not firm.
    If it sets up, carefully reheat.
