Pink Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 large pink strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 small carton sour cream
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Place pineapple in large saucepan.
    Add Jell-O; heat until Jell-O dissolves.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool slightly.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Pour into mold.
    Chill until firm.
