Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. sifted enriched flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup of butter or margarine and 1/4 cup confectioners sugar; add vanilla and water.
    Add sifted enriched flour; mix well and add pecans.
    Form into small rolls 1 1/2 inches long.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 20 minutes or until delicately browned.
    While hot, roll
    in confectioners sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
