Ingredients

3/4 c. softened butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. light cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 c. apricot preserves (can use any flavor you choose)
Preparation

Beat sugar, butter and salt on medium speed until fluffy.
Add yolks, cream and vanilla; beat for 2 minutes.
Gradually add flour, stirring with wooden spoon until smooth.
Form into ball; divide into 2 parts and refrigerate for 2 hours.
