Simple Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix both flours together with fork to blend.
Add flour, alternately with milk.
Add the vanilla or 2 teaspoons vanilla and 1 teaspoon lemon.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0, then 10 minutes at 400\u00b0 to brown.
