German Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    3 c. rolled oats
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients. Form into small balls and place on cookie sheet.
    Flatten balls with bottom of glass.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Let cookies sit for 1 minute on cookie sheet if they are too soft to remove.
