Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 stick oleo
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Put a layer of coconut and pecans in pan.
    Prepare cake mix as per directions.
    Pour over coconut, pecan layer.
    Mix softened oleo and cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla; spread over batter.
    (I drop by spoonful.)
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
