Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
2 onions, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/3 c. pearl barley
1/4 c. catsup
1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
2 tsp. basil
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper
5 c. water
Preparation

Brown meat, skim off excess fat.
Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
