Salt Clay - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. salt
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. salad oil
1 Tbsp. alum (a must)
food coloring (if desired)
2 c. water
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except food coloring, in a saucepan and cook, over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens into a dough mass.
Remove from heat immediately and cool until you can handle, but still warm.
Place on wax paper and knead like bread.
