9 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
3 c. packed dark brown sugar
3 c. granulated sugar
4 c. solid vegetable shortening
4 c. chopped nuts
48 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (8 c.)
