Gourmet Wild Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 to 1 c. wild rice
    12 oz. Jimmy Dean sausage
    3/4 c. green pepper
    3/4 c. onion
    1/2 c. celery
    2 oz. mushrooms
    1 small jar pimento (optional)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. American cheese
Preparation
    Soak wild rice overnight.
    Brown sausage; drain off fat.
    Mix with rice.
    Add green pepper, onion, chopped celery, sliced mushrooms and pimento.
    Mix in cream of chicken and mushroom soup. Mix well; pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, covered.
