Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 eggs
4 oz. Cool Whip (2)
chocolate pie crust
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add chocolate and mix well.
Add eggs and beat for 5 minutes on high speed. Fold in 4 ounces of Cool Whip and pour into crust.
Spread additional 4 ounces of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with toasted almonds or crushed Heath bars if desired.
