Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. white syrup
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Dissolve brown sugar and salt in water; add syrup.
    Cook, without stirring, to hard ball stage.
    Pour gradually over egg whites that have been beaten stiff.
    Beat constantly.
    Add vanilla and continue beating until cool.
    Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
