Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped apples
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. flour (may use self-rising)
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix chopped apples with 1 cup sugar and let stand 30 minutes. Mix dry ingredients together; add apple mixture, oil and egg.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown and toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
