Banana Nut Bread #1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, one at a time
    2 bananas, mashed (the riper, the better)
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts (pecans or English walnuts)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening together.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time; add bananas, flour, soda and salt.
    Add nuts; mix well. Bake in one large loaf or 3 small loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
