Creamy Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 or 9-inch) baked pastry shell
    3 eggs, separated
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
    1/2 c. ReaLemon juice from concentrate
    few drops yellow food coloring (optional)
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In mixing bowl, beat egg yolks; add Eagle Brand milk, lemon juice and coloring.
    Pour into crust.
    In mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff.
    Spread on pie; seal to edge.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Chill.
