Thin White Sauces - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Blend in cornstarch, salt and pepper.
    Gradually add milk.
    Heat to boiling over direct heat and then boil gently 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Makes 1 cup sauce, then boil gently 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
