Pineapple Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    baked pie shells
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the water, sugar and pineapple, then thicken with the cornstarch. When cool, add the two beaten egg whites. Fill baked pie shell and top with whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar and vanilla. Chill in refrigerator.
    Makes 2 pies.
