Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 stick whipped margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    6 to 8 apples, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Mix the sugar, flour, margarine and cinnamon until it looks like coarse cornmeal.
    Place apples in an oblong dish (about 9 x 13-inch) and cover with flour and sugar mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until well browned or until apples are tender.
    Can top with Cool Whip.
