Pear Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
4 c. pears, diced
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 c. oil
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
pecans (optional)
Preparation

Mix together the sugar, raisins and pears and let set for one hour.
Stir often so it makes its own juice or liquid.
Sift together the flour, cinnamon, salt and soda.
Add dry ingredients to pear mixture.
Add oil, eggs and vanilla and stir the ingredients by hand.
