Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick melted butter
Preparation
    Beat sugar, egg, milk and almond extract.
    Sift flour and baking powder and add to mixture.
    Add melted butter.
    Grease and flour (or spray Pam) 1 loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour (test with toothpick).
    Cool cake on rack.
    Sprinkle top with confectioners sugar.
