Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal mix
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. Wesson oil
    1 egg
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/3 c. cream-style corn
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    2 slices crisp bacon
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    1 small onion, diced
    1 chopped hot pepper (optional)
    pinch of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix and bake at 400\u00b0 in greased skillet until brown. Wonderful on a cold night with homemade chili and a crisp green salad.
