Dilly Oyster Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 pt. oysters
2 c. milk
2 c. heavy cream
butter
fresh dill, snipped finely
Preparation

Drain oysters and remove any shell bits.
Reserve liquid. Scald milk and cream.
Cook oysters in the reserved liquid until the edges start to curl.
Stir mixture into the milk and cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon into heated plates and add a pat of butter and a generous sprinkle of fresh dill.
