Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. nuts
    1 1/4 sticks butter
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add sugar and let cool.
    Add eggs and beat well, then add flour, nuts and chocolate bits.
    Bake in 13 x 11-inch greased and floured pan for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
