Curried Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco or chicken fat
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large apple, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    2 tsp. curry powder
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. x cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    2 c. shrimp, cooked
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    2 Tbsp. chutney
    2 1/2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Melt Crisco in a heavy skillet.
    Add apple and onion; cook gently for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle curry powder and flour over mixture until blended.
    Remove from heat and gradually add chicken broth and lemon juice.
    Then add cream and mix well.
    Return to fire and cook until thick.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Add shrimp, raisins and chutney; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Do not overcook. Serves 4 to 5.
