Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

6 big apples
5 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1/2 c. orange juice
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation

Peel and slice apples.
Mix with 5 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
Mix 2 cups sugar, eggs, vanilla, oil and orange juice.
Add flour and baking powder.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Alternate batter and apples starting and ending with batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
