Spiced Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. cranberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
1 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Wash and pick over berries.
Combine all ingredients in a large, heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook just until cranberry skins begin to pop, 5 minutes or so.
Cool and refrigerate until served.
Keeps several weeks in the refrigerator.
