Microwave Scalloped Potatoes, Sausage And Cabbage - cooking recipe

1 (5.25 oz.) pkg. scalloped potatoes
2 1/2 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. butter, cut in pieces
1/2 c. milk
4 c. (12 oz.) shredded cabbage
1 medium onion, sliced thin
12 oz. Polish sausage (kielbasa), cut in chunks
Preparation

In microwave oven in a 3 quart casserole, mix well the potatoes, boiling water, butter, cabbage and onion.
Cover with waxed paper; cook on High 15 minutes, stirring twice.
Stir in sauce mix, milk and sausage.
Cover; cook on High 8 to 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Let stand at least 5 minutes or up to 1 hour.
Reheat on Medium if needed.
