Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 small onion
    1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    garlic powder to taste
    1 can jalapeno pinto beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can golden hominy
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion. Add Ranch dressing mix, chili powder and garlic powder.
    Add beans, hominy, Ro-Tel and stewed tomatoes (do not drain beans and hominy).
    Simmer for 1 hour. Serve with cornbread.
    Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top of soup.
