Strawberry Cool 'N Easy Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
    2/3 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. strawberry gelatin (4 serving size)
    ice cubes
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 tub Cool Whip, thawed
    strawberry slices
Preparation
    In a large bowl, completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Mix cold water and ice to measure 3/4 cup.
    Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.
    Remove any remaining ice.
    Stir in whipped Cool Whip with wire whisk until smooth.
    Refrigerate 15-20 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound.
    Spoon into crust.
    Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
    Top with strawberry slices.
    Makes 8 servings.
