Mexican Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can hominy, drained
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground round in skillet.
    Add onion and cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients, except cheese, and cook about 30 minutes.
    Add cheese and let melt.
    Serve with cornbread.
