Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. dark seedless raisins
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Place milk, butter, eggs and raisins in medium bowl.
    Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and toss with 2 forks for 1 minute.
    Add buttermilk mixture and mix until combined.
    Spoon into prepared pan.
    Bake 50 to 55 minutes.
    Should sound hollow when tapped. Leave in pan 1 minute.
    Then cool completely on wire rack. Contains 165 calories per 1/2-inch slice.
